 Fans irrate at WWE's handling of Maven's push this week

With the HUGE push Maven received last week being GM, including the great ratings he helped draw, fans are irrate at the WWE for again dropping the ball with Maven the following week. After being in one of "The Big Four" pay per views, and then headlining ALL of Raw the next night, they have him beaten cleanly and quite easily by Mean Gene Snitsky. It certainly doesn't make the least bit of sense unless Maven eleminates Snitsky next Monday in the Company Wide Over-The-Top battle royal and goes on to have a great showing and finishes in the top 4 or 5.
Gene Snitsky vs. Maven: WWE fans really bought into the Maven storyline last week. The former Tough Enough champion may not be ready for a main event push, but he performed well enough last week that the creative team should have given him a storyline that might have kept the viewers interested in him. Maven certainly isn't the first person who peaked in a match with Hunter only to be reinserted into the mid-card (or undercard in his case), but it doesn't get any less frustrating when WWE fails to capitalize on a wrestler's momentum. - Courtesy Jason Powell - PWTorch.com
