Howard Finkel did the announcing, started by asking us to rise for the
national anthem, which was cut off by La Resistance. Grenier attempted to
sing the Canadian anthem, which was cut off by the entrance of Eugene and
William Regal. Eugene came out wearing the big hands, and gave them to a
kid at ringside.

1. Eugene and William Regal beat La Resistance

Long heat session on Regal initially. Crowd was into Eugene's tag. La
Resistance hit the Au Revoir on Eugene but Regal came in to break it up.
Eugene hit the Rock Bottom on Grenier, but Maven came in (he may have been
under the ring?) to attack Eugene. Even with Eugene lying out on the
floor, Regal pinned Conway with an uppercut. Eugene did the dance with
kids in the ring and Maven came back to grab the tag belts and lay out
Regal and Eugene with belt shots. Regal sold the belt shot forever and
Eugene went crazy trying to get the referees and Finkel to revive him.
Eventually Regal left with Eugene's assistance. Not a bad opener, Regal's
selling is awesome.
