Shelton Benjamin beat Christian and Maven in a three-way match to retain Intercontinental Title. Shelton retained in a very good match. Prior to the match Christian got on the mic and began yelling at the crowd over the CLB chant. He challenged one section and told them after he kicked Shelton's ass he would be over there to kick some other butt!! Lots of action with each wrestler getting the upper hand at various points. Of course, Tomko was at ringside and proceeded to interfere several times. Eventually, the referee ejected him from ringside, which seemed to unnerve Christian. Maven continued his turn to the dark side and drew pretty good heat. The match was moving rapidly with several shots in and out of the ring. Shelton pinned Christian after Maven was laid out on the floor.
