Wyatt E. from Amherst, NS (9.0): Best Match: Edge vs. Randy Orton. Worst Match: None. No, really, none. The more I think about it, the better Raw gets. There were really no problems with it at all. Everything just fell into place. Okay, there were few matches, but they were all pretty fine matches, especially the opener. The Elimination Chamber was no surprise since it was revealed by the Torch last week, but this lead to my only beef with Raw: why Jericho? I love him to death, but it feels like just yesterday that he just lost to the now-reigning IC Champ, Shelton Benjamin. Then again, there really aren't too many other people, are there? Onto Shelton and Maven - sweet. This is obviously going to be at NYR, but it has the potential to be a gem since they both have undeniable energy. I take back everything I said about Maven needing more time as a face - he rocks as a heel. Hey, Kane's coming back! That's pretty cool, but what about Matt? Isn't he due back anytime now? The wall of fire was pretty groovy - Gene should have just moved back and forth really fast, turning the fire on and off. That'd be hi-frikkin'-larious. Foley rules and it's great to see him around, but it's a shame he got stuck with Hassan. Who, I might add, has THE single worst entrance theme in the history of entrance themes. Just cringe-worthy. But at least the segment was intense. Props to Eugene for the Papa Shango namedrop. Hey, I dig silly stuff like that. I'm a nostalgic guy. Outstanding show overall.
Mike Labella of Staten Island, N.Y. (9.0): Tonight's Raw was a great way to close out the year. The show flowed very well and everything made sense. I feel bad for anyone who ordered Armageddon because the Orton vs. Edge match was better than the entire PPV. Christian's character and work ethic are great and I hope he gets a main event push in the upcoming year. Speaking of pushes, Maven looks to be in for one and seems much more comfortable as a heel. I think that Triple H truly meant every word he said to Bischoff when he was pleading his case to be World Champ. How about Batista? Each week he is becoming a bigger star. It should be interesting to see if he makes his way to the World Title picture come WrestleMania. Raw has been on a pretty good roll and I hope it continues. Too bad Smackdown seems to be going in the opposite direction.

Jeremy Marrano of Buffalo N.Y. (7.0): Best: Orton vs. Edge. Worst: Anything Gene Snitsky does, especially on the mic. This was one of those additions of Raw that started strongly, but then ended rather weakly. Edge and Orton put on their best performance together to date. Their match was very well-paced and had a great last five minutes. The Evolution tag match was a good match, but nothing special. Maven pinning Shelton is good for his character; Maven could have a good program with Benjamin if they're given the proper bookings. The feud could also do wonders for Maven's turn/push. Also, an extra point is added to tonight's grade because of the return appearance of the wall of fire. WWE breaks out the "wall of fire" only once every 15 months or so, it's nice to have it back. It was also nice to see Mick Foley, but I feel using him to promote the Hussan character does nothing for either man. Hassan needs someone to feud with in the ring, not on the mic. The last segment was beyond predictable. The WWE wasted two hours tonight with the "What will Bischoff decided?" angle. The main event told us nothing we didn't already know. Maybe WWE should try to keep these things a secret because their product is neither surprising nor shocking anymore. All and all, tonight's Raw was an above average show, with some quality matches and good storyline development.
