Regardless of the extremely short period of time Maven and Shelton have had to build anything in regards to a feud, the fans are still steadily backing the match. Currently on WWE.com a poll asks "Which New Year's Revolution match are you most looking forward to seeing?". Maven vs. Benjamin was as far as next-to-last when the poll started but is now almost second overall, behind the Elemination Chamber and currently running head-to-head with Kane vs. Snitsky. Certainly some inspiring feedback for a match with little build but certainly alot of promise and speculation.
