Fellow Tough Enough alumni Matt Morgan says "“I saw the first list of guys let go and my heart just went out to them,” Morgan said in an exclusive WWE.com interview. “Still, you’re happy it’s not you. Then the second day you get the call.”

He continues, “Wrestling is still my top priority,” Morgan said. “I will look at my options, whether that means wrestling in Japan, Germany, anywhere overseas. Sometimes you have to take a step back to go forward..."

Jackie Gayda and Charlie Haas, along with Billy Kidman have also responded to their recent departure from WWE.

Maven has yet to speak out publicly about his release, his stance on World Wrestling Entertainment and his future plans and whether wrestling is still involved in those plans, whether it be overseas, in TNA or in ROH.
