2000 - 2001
WWF/MTV Tough Enough Season 1
Maven
Huffman began his television career when he first
appeared on MTV's hit reality show, Tough Enough.
The premise of the show was to pick a very select
group of talented and athletic individuals from
thousands. Maven shined athletically, coming from a
background in baseball and quickly became a fan
favorite on the world wide tv show. Using his
athletic ability and charisma, Maven eventually won
the first Tough Enough championship, earning himself
a wrestling contract with World Wrestling
Entertainment, formally known as WWF.
2002
WWE Divas: Undressed
Maven appeared
as special judge on this one night premiere event on
MTV Networks. Maven judged other WWE Diva stars as
they competed for the Divas: Undressed Championship.
Pro Wrestling Illustrated - Rookie of the Year
Maven won the PWI
Rookie of the Year award given to the best male or
female rookie in the professional wrestling
industry. Maven beat out several outstanding
athletes including former Tough Enough competitor
Chris Nowinski and current Worlds Heavyweight
Champion David Batista.
2001 - 2005
WWF/E Raw & WWF/E SmackDown! & Sunday Night Heat
After garnering a contract from the World Wrestling
Federation in 2001, Maven began appearing on the hit
cable shows Raw and SmackDown! The young rookie
quickly made a name for himself as a top young
prospect in the WWF. He would go on to win the
WWF/WWE Hardcore Championship three times over the
next year, even defeating the Undertaker on the
SmackDown! program with help from another former
superstar and actor, The Rock.
Maven
has also participated in some of the biggest pay per
views in World Wrestling Entertainment history.
